Our Journey
At Transition Point®, we have been dedicated to helping business owners navigate the complexities of succession planning since our incorporation in 2014. Our mission is to guide owners through the intricate process of developing a solid succession plan—one that not only addresses the practical decisions but also recognizes the emotional and personal factors that often come into play.
In 2016, Rena Striegel joined the company, and by 2019, she purchased Transition Point® as part of its own succession plan. At that time, a strategic decision was made to shift our focus to serving families in agriculture, where there was a clear lack of resources and support. This shift illuminated the deep and pressing need for assistance in helping farm and ranch families transition their businesses to the next generation.
In 2020, we launched The DIRTT Project®, a first-of-its-kind program in agriculture designed to offer 24/7 access to essential succession planning tools. Initially developed as an online course, The DIRTT Project® quickly expanded into three robust, intensive workshops. These workshops are led by dedicated professionals in the field of succession planning, as well as farmers who have successfully implemented The DIRTT Project® tools and concepts in their operations.
Now in our 10th year, our commitment to agriculture remains firm. We continue to innovate and adapt, ensuring that our services remain relevant, comprehensive, and tailored to meet the unique challenges faced by farming and ranching families.
